Saturday, 22 February, 11am-5pm
Ingestre Community Centre, London NW5 1UX
Following the establishment of the first Cooperation Town food co-op in London, Cooperation Town organisers called on activists everywhere to join our mission to start a network of community-led, self organised food co-ops on every estate, in every town!
This workshop, organised with trainers from Radical Routes, is an invitation to take part in the collective scaling up of the project. We will discuss:
> The principles and practicalities of running a Cooperation Town food co-op
> Adapting the model to your area
> Structure and governance
> Co-op finance
> Participatory decision making
> Risks and troubleshooting
We are looking to organise free accommodation for people coming from outside London. Please get in touch if you need a place to crash.Free childcare. Please let us know the number and ages of your children. Lunch and refreshments provided.
Tickets are: £12 standard / £7 concession / £17 solidarity ticket
The price of the ticket covers the costs of the event, with any surplus to be used to help with travel costs.
